Joe Cocker, Mad Dogs and Englishmen - Bird On A Wire HD
There is just something so heart wrenching in Joe's cover of St. Leo's tune that makes this cover almost better than the original!
And then add the fact that I lived this time...oh yes I sure did..got the memory lapses to prove it...grins!

Sam Cooke - Blowing in the Wind (HQ)
It's "We've Got This Covered" over at the Flimwell Papers Music Corner and this cover by the master of the smooth Soul Sam Cooke turns in a very different and at times almost "show biz singin' Vegas Style" version of this classic. Pyrotechnics but so smooth you almost miss them.....cheers now...
